This year, the MUN society organises a Burns Night Event on the 25th of January to celebrate Scottish culture in Spin.
The event will include a traditional Burns supper composed of Haggis, neeps and tatties, vegetarian options will also be available.
As the tradition wants, the night will start off with the traditional address to the Haggis following by a supper.
More than a traditional supper, Burns night is a celebration of Scottish culture! After a warm supper, you will be able grab a drink and listen to some traditional Scottish songs and poems!
We’ll obviously read a few but the scene is open to anybody, so feel free to bring your favourite song or poem and go in front of the mic! We can’t wait to hear you all!!!
There will also be a prize for the best performer of the night!
A bit later, during the second part of the night, the scene will also be open to anyone willing to perform, either with a poem they like, a small sketch, or a song: we are open to anything! :D
