Paris, July 1942: 10-year-old Sarah is taken with her parents to the Vel' d'Hiv' stadium, one Jewish family among thousands rounded up to be sent to the camps. To protect her younger brother, she hides him in a secret cupboard in the family's apartment. Sixty years later, a Paris-based American journalist stumbles onto a trail of long-hidden secrets.
This free and ticketed special screening is presented for Holocaust Memorial Day and with various partners who include GREC, Unite, Four Pillars and Polish Association Aberdeen and is facilitated by Aberdeen City Council. The film showing will be preceded by a reception and remembrances from 12 noon in the Café Bar.
