— This year’s SPECTRA, Aberdeen’s Festival of Light, also features an exciting programme of live music featuring innovative and groundbreaking international bands and DJ’s performing across city centre venues.
James is one of the 2 founding members of electronica act Paris XY. James’ new musical engagement bears more emphasis on the live and energetic aspects of electronic music. Combining the core driving elements of House and Techno with the complex organic atmospheres and euphoric melodic arrangements that were prominent in his previous works.
— CLER LEVER
Cler Lever first came onto the scene back in 2005 as the resident of Liverpool's notorious underground (literally) warehouse parties. In 2007, Cler was the worthy winner of Babycream's DJ competition following which she secured the opening set at Creamfields that year, warming up for Mark Ronson and becoming the first female DJ in history to play on the main stage. As well as playing at some of the best nights in the county alongside the likes of Frank Lorber, Sebo K and Felix Da Housecat, Cler started her own night Rhumba, bringing some of the best DJs and producers to Liverpool for the first time including Patrice Baumel, Ben Klock, Phil Kieran and Super Flu. After taking a break to focus on other projects, Cler is back and picking up where she left off, playing an intoxicating blend of deep house and melodic techno.
