More Palliative Care settings are using Complementary Therapists to offer treatment, comfort and support to in patients, day patients and hospice at home patients. This course has been designed to introduce you to adaptive ways of approaching and delivering treatment within these care settings to a varied client/patient group.
Each modality is offered as a full treatment, a shortened treatment and a balance, meaning that you will be expanding your toolbox in all three modalities hand, face and foot reflexology as well as being able to adapt to whichever care setting you are treating your clients in.
This is a full one day workshop that would be of most benefit to therapists already employed within a Hospice/Healthcare setting as well as those who need to adapt their approach and modalities to support people in their own homes. All skills taught during this course are an add on to therapists current skills and techniques and as such will be covered by the insurance already held.
You will have 9 practical treatments sequences to use on completion of this course. A 3 minute, 6 minute and 20 minute treatment sequence for Facial, Hand and Foot Reflexology. These sequences can be incorporated into or added onto your current treatments — reflexology. massage or reiki.
The course is open to Reflexologists, Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Nurses.
Workbook will be supplied but please bring notebook to take your own notes.
Attendance certificate will be issued at the end of the day.
