The year 2018 is the 100th anniversary of the death of George Cantor (1845-1918) — German mathematician and one of the founding fathers of modern mathematics.

This talk will take you on a journey through the rather interesting life of George Cantor and the consequences of his — controversial at the time — work on the general foundations of mathematics.

STUFF WORTH KNOWING explores information worth knowing. Scheduled with convenience in mind, these talks are FREE and suitable for 16+ years in general.
