An open mic for for all female/ female-identifying acts. Come along and give it a go! This will be un-amplified in a quiet cosy venue to encourage an inclusive and supportive atmosphere. Those with less or no experience performing are encouraged to get up and give it a go!
Mixed audience, all welcome!
This is an early evening event in a child-friendly venue, and you are encouraged to partake of the The Cult of Coffee's lovely coffee, teas and cake on offer while you enjoy the performances :)
All styles of music are welcome, as is spoken word, and other forms of performance. Please get in touch via the event page or at Rebecca Dunn if you'd like to perform.
Some of the fantastic women who are part of the Aberdeen woman's group, as well as other inspiring women and men I know, have been helping me to bring this idea to reality.
This is event sort of coincides with International Women's Day, but not on the actual date of International Women's Day, which is the 8th March.
This event is FREE! But you are encouraged to support our host, The Cult of Coffee, through the purchasing of hot drinks and cakes :)
