University of Aberdeen Economics and Business Society
ab243st Old Aberdeen, Aberdeen City, United Kingdom
Ladies and Gentlemen,
This has been by far our most successful year in our history, reaching record-membership numbers (284 paid members), the largest ball on campus (369 attendees), 24 events across the year, co-organising the inaugural Scottish Economics Conference, doubling our societal funding from last year and creating the best student atmosphere for all our members.
The University of Aberdeen Economics and Business Society's Annual General Meeting (AGM) will see the election of a new committee to continue through the next year, on to higher achievements! There will be FREE PIZZA, and we going on a MINI-PUB CRAWL afterwards! PLEASE ARRIVE AND BE SEATED BY 6PM — WE WANT TO KEEP TO A TIME SCHEDULE AS WELL AS POSSIBLE. All attendees must be members of the society.
All the below positions will be open for election, EXCEPT FOR PRESIDENT (of which only existing committee members can run). You will make a maximum-4 minutes long speech to all attendees to this event, and voting will be undertaken after all candidates have made their case.
