Some home study will be required, about 500 hours over the 3 years; 40-50 for the Shiatsu Acupressure for Health Course; this is mainly doing treatments, reading and homework. The emphasis is on the practical during the Shiatsu Acupressure for Health course. Shiatsu is intuitive healing bodywork resting on a solid foundation of knowledge.
The Shiatsu Acupressure for Health course gives a good grounding for anyone interested in complementary health and/or growth work, and is often used by individuals for their own self development and improving their health.
This course is the start of a 3 year professional training. This is a long training, which leaves you able to set up in practice as a very competent therapist, or full of information to help yourself, family and friends to improve their health. We cover diet and other lifestyle recommendations to support the Shiatsu. You are welcome to complete as much of the course as is suitable for you, that is why we do it in 4 blocks.
