A table for 10 is booked at Cafe 52, The Green on Saturday and Sunday during Look Again 2018, with your hosts being artists! Join Banff-based Bryan Angus and Carla Angus over lunch on the Sunday to discuss the festival, the theme of 'Serious Play' and the notion of 'being a tourist in your own city'.

Part of Visual Artist Unit's Talks Programme for Look Again 2018. A seriously playful programme exploring the themes of the festival, this is an opportunity to meet the artists and take part in the discussion. The programme includes artist-led discussions over lunch, experimental artist talks and panel-led group conversations in cosy dens!

Bryan and Carla Angus are experienced artists and arts managers living in Banff. Bryan is a printmaker and painter who trained at Gray's, going on to work extensively in the performing and visual arts industry across the UK. Carla trained in theatre design and is currently the Performance and Events Development Co-ordinator for Aberdeenshire Council Arts and Heritage Team. Until recently Carla and Bryan's own business, The Creative Retreat, offered artist residential spaces and art holidays in Gardenstown on the Banffshire Coast.

*Booking required via Event Brite*

Look Again Festival invites you to ‘become a tourist in your own city’ by seeing Aberdeen city centre through fresh eyes. Look Again Festival is a celebration of the very best contemporary visual art and design, showcasing both local and internationally acclaimed talent in Aberdeen.

Aligning with Scotland’s ‘Year of Young People’, Look Again Festival’s 2018 programme will see artists and designers respond to the theme of ‘Serious Play’. Three iconic locations; Marischal College Quad, Broad Street and Castlegate, will be animated with an array of live art and performance, playable structures, interactive workshops and creative interventions across the four-day festival.

Look Again 2018 has been made possible thanks to the kind support of: The Robert Gordon University, SMART, Creative Scotland and Aberdeen City Council. Look Again is a member of Aberdeen Festivals sponsored by Nexen and is an official supporting partner of the Year of Young People 2018.
