We are working together with Bee Struthers Fine Art to introduce a more refined, and different childrens art class for children between the ages of 5 and 12 to get involved with this summer!
Each class will entail a different project and they are as follows:
Monday 6th of August: Hapa Zome Wall Hanging. This is a traditional Japanese leaf hammering technique used to create unique wall hangings.
Monday 13th of August: Torn Paper Collage Animals. Using images for reference, magazines will be torn up and glued together to create an animal of choice on card.
Monday 20th of August: Fruit and Veg Printing. Using cut up different pieces of fruit and veg dipped in paint, large paintings will be created using the method of printing.
All of these classes are incredibly interactive and produce large pieces of work to take home at the end, and are suitable for the ages of 5-12 years old.
Rebecca from Bee Struthers Fine Art will be holding all the workshops and is completely PVG certified. However we do ask that parents remain on the premises while the class is underway, there will be teas, coffees, and cakes available to purchase from the cafe. Then, the cafe itself will be open from 12pm with our full lunch menu.
To book a slot into the class of choice, please contact the Bonobo Facebook page with all spaces to be paid in full before the class.
We really hope you’re as excited as we are, we are hoping to work closely with Bee Struthers Fine Art in the future so watch this space!
